Mornico Losana is small, there are no Hotels. The accommodations directly in the village are very limited.
These are the possibilities of accommodation that I can offer you:
 
The house "Casa Spiaggi":

This is a pleasant house, situated 600 meters from our place. Have two large bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room with fireplace and a nice big balcony. There is a garden. Great view. The house has everything you need for sleeping and cooking and the washing machine. Cleaning and change of sheets and towels will be provided once each five days.
It has no air conditioning but it is cool that is already shaded by a pair of big trees and there is a fan in each room...
This house is not suitable for those who do not like the movement, is necessary walk up a small hill about 100 meters to get the main street. The rest of the walk to get the studios is almost flat. No others houses immediately near. For 50 meters it is dark in the night, so is necessary to use a flashlight to get the house.

The price is: 30 Euro per night per person in single room.
This house is available only if I rent two rooms or you can rent it all for 60 Euro.

The "House of Esther":

This is a lovely house in the main square, about 100 meters from our house. The ground floor has a living room and a fully equipped kitchen and first floor has two bedrooms, a balcony and a bathroom with shower.
Has the washing machine. Cleaning and change of sheets and towels will be provided once each five days.
No air conditioning. Fan in each room.
The price is: 30 Euro per night per person in single room.

Is possible to rent the entire house for 60 Euro.

The "House of Fulvia"

This is a nice apartment located in an old house, in the main street, about 250 meters from our house (10 minutes walking). The apartment is fully developed on the ground floor; a large fully equipped kitchen, a big double bedroom a bathroom and a nice living room with fireplace that eventually can become a single room. Nice view on the hills.
Is perfect for a couple or who do not want to climb stairs. Nice short walking to get the studios.

Has the washing machine. Cleaning and change of sheets and towels will be provided once each five days. No air conditioning. Fan in the room.

The price is: 60 Euro a day for the apartment.
Perfect to share with a friend or if you come with a partner.

Apartment in Miriam House:

We have two single rooms and one big double room available in a large apartment on the second floor (without elevator) of our main building.
The apartment has a kitchen complete with everything needed for cooking, a nice veranda and a panoramic terrace. A complete bathroom and a small toilette of service.
The apartment is very pleasant and comfortable, but it is not suitable for those who cannot climbs stairs or who will come with heavy suitcase.

Cleaning and change of sheets and towels once each five days.
There is a washing machine available to students.
No air conditioning. Fan in each room

Price:
30 Euro per night per person for a single room.
25 Euro in the huge double room, sharing with a student, (if there is another student available to share)…

For those who want a private bathroom:

No chance of rooms with private bathroom in the village, except if you would like to rent a house all for you. This is only possible if the class is not full.
The houses "Casa Spiaggi", Casa di Esther and Casa di Fulvia are available for renting at a single parson for 60 Euro a day.

The hotel facilities are not far but you need to have a car:

Agriturismo "Corte Montini" (www.cortemontini.it)
Situated in the village of Santa Giuletta, at the edge of the hills, the Agriturismo "Corte Montini" is a good quality. This is a comfortable place with single rooms with private bathroom and air conditioned, but is on the second floor without elevator (stairs). Has an excellent restaurant.
It is far about 15 minutes by car.  

Villa Arabella.
It is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Losana fraction (less than 2 kilometres from our house), with three elegant guest rooms, a garden like dream and a swimming pool.

Hotel Restaurant da Angelo
Situated in the town called Fumo (far about 5 kilometres):
A large hotel with comfortable rooms with private bath, and with all modern comforts (air conditioning). It has an upscale restaurant. Prices range from 95 Euro upwards. If you interest, you can get information and reservations visit the website:

The Food in Mornico Losana

Opportunities for evening meals and free day:

The mid-day lunch is included in the tuition for the day's lesson.
We have lunch on the terrace with panoramic views and Mss. Rosa in Casteggio who cooks divinely, and brings us lunch produces the food.
We don't have any supermarket or shops in the village. Wednesday morning arrive in the square two vans with supplies such neighbourhoods market where you can buy everything you need except meat or fish. There will be two free trips to the nearby big supermarket for shopping, if you are here without car and do not you find what you need in the country,
for extra trips to the markets we ask 5 Euro per person as contribution for transportation costs (the driver and fuel).

Mornico has two bars with good coffee and three fine restaurants of excellent quality. Prices for a full dinner are around 25 to 35 Euros per person.
We organize culinary tours outside the country, to summer festivals, or to test some special pizza restaurant or a good Trattoria, where you can eat very well from around 20 Euro.

Some times happen that we will eat together in my terrace, in that case the dinner will be prepared by me with the help of the students.
The contribution for this kind of dinner will be 8 Euro.

Most of classes will list 9 days, with a free day included, in the way that the students can enjoy having rest and the possibility to visit the area.

I will enjoy sharing the free time with my students, showing how beautiful is the "Oltrepò Pavese" and how good could be the "Ravioli" in some of the pleasant restaurants in the hills.

If you would like to have some holidays before or after the course, I remember you we are very near to Milano, Genova, Torino, and Pavia, and with the train is possible to get "Cinque Terre" National Park in no more of two hours. By train is possible to be in Florence, Rome or Venice in around 4 hours. We can arrange a taxi service from and to the train station of Voghera City.
